A sales call, a custom quote and a top-tier plan.
Hydrogen is on the published Growth plan at $199 a month, and on Pro and Agency. Install the app, choose Growth in Shopify, and start a 14-day free trial.
On a Hydrogen store, your channel apps only see checkout. PixelRelay adds product views, add to cart and search through one npm package and a route on your own domain.

You’re probably expecting headless tracking to mean a sales call, a custom quote and a top-tier plan. Or one more script that breaks hydration or gets blocked by Hydrogen’s content security policy.

The client compiles into your bundle as a normal npm import. There’s no third-party script tag, and events go to /api/relay on your own domain.
Hydrogen’s default policy blocks vendor tags without an error. pixelRelayCspDirectives() adds the entries PixelRelay needs.
@pixelrelay/hydrogen on npm, MIT licence. It compiles into your storefront like any other import.
npx pixelrelay-hydrogen install-route adds /api/relay to your app. The browser posts events there, on your own domain, and your server forwards them.
pixelRelayCspDirectives() goes into createContentSecurityPolicy() in entry.server.tsx.
npx pixelrelay-hydrogen-verify checks the route, token, shop binding and plan.
On a Hydrogen store, the official channel-app pixels run on Shopify’s checkout and thank-you page only. Everything before checkout happens in your own React app.
Channel-app pixels run here, on Shopify’s own pages, and their server-side purchase sync keeps working.
These happen in your Hydrogen storefront, where channel-app pixels don’t load.
Also on the storefront. Until your own code sends it, no platform hears about it.
Hydrogen’s default content security policy blocks vendor tags without a console error. Server-side events keep arriving, so the gap usually goes unseen until someone checks.
Channel apps keep syncing purchases server-side on Hydrogen. At go-live you switch each platform over to PixelRelay, one at a time, so purchases aren’t counted twice.
All 11 destinations work the same on Hydrogen as on an Online Store theme.
It seems like headless tracking has been priced as an enterprise extra. Aimerce lists it from $499 a month and Analyzify from $275. Littledata lists it on its $199 Scale plan, which includes 1,500 orders. Hydrogen tracking is included on every plan from $199 a month.
| App | Lowest plan that lists headless | Monthly price | Orders included | Over the allowance | Example: 2,000 orders / month |

Every step is in the Hydrogen quickstart. Your channel apps keep running until you go live.
Run npm install @pixelrelay/hydrogen. The client compiles into your storefront bundle.
Wrap your app in <PixelRelayProvider>, run npx pixelrelay-hydrogen install-route to add /api/relay, and add pixelRelayCspDirectives() to your content security policy.
Run npx pixelrelay-hydrogen-verify. It checks the route, token, shop binding and plan before you go live.
Your channel apps only see checkout. Your developer shouldn’t hand-wire four pixels, and you shouldn’t need a top-tier plan to fix it.
Hydrogen tracking is included on every plan from $199 a month.
Launch is built for Online Store themes: no monthly fee, $0.19 per order. Running Hydrogen? Start on Growth — headless is included from day one, with a 14-day free trial.Install help is optional. Self-serve on Growth is the default; this is for teams that would rather hand it over.
We add the package to your storefront, verify events reach each connected destination, and work to an agreed SLA.

How server-side tracking works on a Shopify Hydrogen store: storefront events through a first-party route, checkout events from Shopify, and the purchase from the order webhook.
Which events a Shopify Hydrogen storefront can track, how each one fires, and what Meta, Google Ads, GA4, TikTok and Klaviyo receive — including events ad blockers usually drop.
Track Google Ads conversions on a Shopify Hydrogen storefront: server-side purchase uploads from Shopify orders, gclid plus iOS gbraid and wbraid, and enhanced conversions.
Set up the Meta Pixel and Conversions API on a Shopify Hydrogen store: browser and server events share an event ID, fbp and fbc follow the cart, and the purchase comes from the order.
Send GA4 ecommerce events from a Shopify Hydrogen store: view_item, add_to_cart and search server-side via Measurement Protocol, with purchases taken from Shopify orders.
